2 years ago, on April, 1st 2017, Abunawas was founded by Muhamad Noor Sutrisno. The goal was very simple, Abunawas will be a call center to help everyone to book any kind of services provided by Go-Jek, Uber and Grab and to buy daily needs provided by Tokopedia and Bukalapak.
Customers will simply call Abunawas' call center, tell what they need, and Voila! Abunawas' call center will check the lowest price from the mobile applications and after that placed the order to Go-Jek, Uber, Grab, Tokopedia or Bukalapak. The problem was Abunawas' call center system was still manual, we could not integrated with Go-Jek, Uber, Grab, Tokopedia or Bukalapak system.
Abū-Nuwās
Abu-Ali Al-Hasan bin Hani Al-Hakami (756-814), usually known as Abū-awās or Abū-Nuwās (Arabic: ابونواس), is an Arabic poet. He was born in the city of Ahvaz in the country of Persia, with Arab and Persian blood flowing on his body.
Abu Nawas is considered as one of the greatest poets of classical Arabic literature, he is depicted as a wise and hilarious figure. Abu Nawas also appeared several times in the story of 1001 Nights.
The name Abu Nawas was chosen as the name of the brand by Muhammad Noor Sutrisno because Abu Nawas is a non-fictional character, a smart, humble, close to the ruler, humorous, able to solve the problems of many people and died as a respected person.
